  • What does the “Roadtrip Yucateco” tour consist of?

    It is a unique experience aboard a classic VW van that visits some of the most impressive (and lesser-known) cenotes in Valladolid. We combine nature, local cuisine, and authentic interaction to offer sustainable tourism that is far from conventional.

  • How long does the tour last?

    Approximately 6 hours, from pick-up to return to the meeting point.

  • Where does the tour start?

    The meeting point is Hotel Waye in Valladolid, Yucatán. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

  • What is included in the tour price?

    • Entrance to the cenotes.
    • Food and drinks.
    • Life jacket at each cenote.
    • Clean towel.
    • Round transportation in a VW van.
    • Hydration throughout the tour.
  • What's not included?

    • Tips.
    • Biodegradable sunscreen or insect repellent (we suggest you bring your own to protect your skin and the environment).
  • What should I bring?

    • Swimsuit.
    • Comfortable clothing and footwear.
    • Biodegradable sunscreen and insect repellent.
    • Hat or cap and sunglasses.
    • A healthy appetite: the main course is served near the end of the tour.
  • Is the tour suitable for all ages?

    Yes, as long as participants are able to walk short distances and climb up and down steps in the cenotes. No previous swimming experience is required, but comfort in aquatic environments is recommended.

  • Is it available in other languages?

    Yes, the tour is offered in Spanish and English.

  • Can I book at short notice?

    Yes, provided there is availability, but you must do so at least 11 hours before the start time.

  • Is it safe to swim in the cenotes?

    Yes, all participants receive life jackets and we have trained guides to ensure your safety in the water.
